On december, 18th, 2008, Biophytis was able to increase its capital thanks to the venture capital company Seventure Partners. En Juin 2009, pour son premier tour de table, Biophytis a levé 3 M€ apportés à parité par Seventure Partners et CM CIC Capital Privé.
Active partner of companies with high growth potential, Seventure Partners invests since 1997 in two innovative business areas: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)and Life Sciences (LF). The Seventure Partners team has a proven track-record and deep knowledge in technology, entrepreneurship, operations of venture capital, and in the needs generated in fast-growing european companies The Life Sciences team operate in Europe since 2005, the ICT team has a branch in Munich (Germany) since January 2008. Seventure Partners invests in european start-ups with high growth potential, withan amount of investment from 0, 5 million euros up to20 million euros per firm in several stages from seed to later stage rounds. Seventure Partners is a subsidiary of Natixis Private Equity which manages more than 4 billion euros in private equity.
CM-CIC Capital Privé supports SMEs which have proved that their positioning is consistent with their markets. CM-CIC makes available its know-how to experienced leaders who have a medium-term industrial project. CM-CIC Capital Privé invests in capital primarily in innovative companies. It is an independent management company authorized the Financial Market Authority. Its administers assets worth 350 Million euros in 2009. CM-CIC Capital Privé is a subsidiary of CIC Finances.

Biophytis is the 2007 winner of the Réseau Entreprendre Paris competition. For 5 years, 180 decision maker managers of RRE have helped owner managers become corporate managers. 94% of the 160 companies that have won the competition are still bustling with activity. OSEO provides assistance and financial support to French SMEs. OSEO supports and funds in particular innovative technology-based projects with real marketing prospects. OSEO has supported Biophytis since 2006 in its innovation and research project, notably to hire a doctor and an engineer. OSEO also provided Biophytis with the "innovative business" title on the occasion of the Innovative Projects Funding.
Scientipôle Initiative has the role of making it possible for innovative companies of the Ile-de-France region to start and to develop with a powerful combination of financial supports, services and business support tools.
The Agoranov incubator was created in 2000 by several prestigious scientific institutions: the Universities Paris VI (Pierre and Marie Curie) and Paris IX (Dauphine), the National University (Ecole Normale Supérieure) and ParisTech association. Agoranov helps and supports innovative business projects, most of which are related to research and technology. For this reason, Agoranov is supported by the Ministry for Research, Paris, the Ile-de France region, the DRIRE and the European Social Fund. The projects incubated by Agoranov reached the creation of more than 100 companies.

Biophytis is supported by SOPRAN, Sanofi-Aventis subsidiary company that looks after reconversion, local economic development and expansion. SOPRAN finances Biophytis through a participative starting loan and a program of technology transfer. Its financial aid makes it possible for Biophytis to develop its innovative extracts.
PM'up allows to 200 SMEs with a development project enabling innovation to receive funds and individualized support for three years. Pm'up franciliennes target companies from the region Ile de France whose projects are able to contribute to a strategic development plan for identified sectors as priorities.
